Chamundi Hills

We went to Mysore on Dussera weekend, which is the biggest festival of the year for that city. The Chamundi Hills Temple was a crazy busy, and we stood in line for over an hour to get in. The temple was beautiful and ornate from the outside, but we were suprised to notice it was very plain on the inside. Once we got in, we were there for less than 5 minutes. As we got closer to the idols, people were pushing and shoving and we have not ever experienced anything like it. It was nuts. You literally had to fight to stay standing.
