I got to volunteer at Salaam Baalak Trust (http://www.salaambaalaktrust.com/) a couple times, not regularly like I'd hoped but oh well. This organization helps gets street kids who hop trains from rural parts of India to Delhi without tickets. They tend to get to Delhi and live at the train stations or elsewhere on the streets pickpocketing, snorting whiteout and getting "adopted" by your friendly neighborhood handler. It was so much fun - I can't believe I actually got a group of kids to do stuff without making a ruckus. Make sure to notice how nice and peacefully they are drawing (that's ALL me!)
Something tells me this wouldn't pass whatever code is supposed to protect us from fire back home. This is the fuse box of our downstairs neighbor. Ours at least doesn't have the wires sticking out.
