Inga and Julia visit us in India!
We could not have been more thrilled to host Julia and Inga on their first trip to India. In 2 weeks, we did so many fun things including finding a cockroach in our food, jumping onto a moving local train, getting into a fender bender, driving an autorickshaw (unrelated to previous item), bargaining like champs, meeting the most wacked out bartender in Kerala, and battling a bat and unfounded fears of dengue fever in our houseboat.

Side trip
What do you do after recovering from a severe communicable disease and quitting your job? Europe! Inspired mainly by Bollywood movie scenes and food options (okay, fascination with some history helped too), I chose Greece, Italy and Switzerland. 7 weeks on the road alone was a great experience. Here is a small sampling of photos. More can be found here, here, and here.
