A common thing children do on Independence Day is fly kites. So Dan bought a kite and tried to fly it on our roof. He didn't have a lot of success, but it was pretty comical watching him try. Even the neighbors across the way were watching and laughing. Then two of the kids that we were watching came over and tried to help.
