For me, this was one of the most anticipated sights in India. The Golden Temple in Amritsar is near the border of Pakistan. It was built in the 1500's and is literally covered in real gold. Like most things, the photos don't do it justice. It was one the most moving experiences.
Minh and I taking it all in. Head coverings were mandatory for men and women. We also had to wash our hands and feet before going in.
This adorable baby was being dragged around by her feet by her sister just seconds before I snapped this. She didn't seem to mind the dragging.
