A mouse in the house!

There is nothing more terrifying than learning that the gecko you thought was crawling around your house was actually a mouse. Okay, maybe a few things are more terrifying but this was pretty damn scary. We decided to catch the mouse in a very humane way - well, Dan's idea was him making a bunch of noise with a broom to get it to come out of hiding, then my job was to run after it with a bucket to try to trap it under the bucket. We turned the treadmill on its side so it couldn't hide under there. Well, as you can imagine, when the mouse came running out I ran away screaming then remembered I was supposed to be running towards it. Then Dan chased after me and the mouse. Um, it was not a very foolproof strategy and was suprisingly unsuccessful. The whole thing made me realize that we really do need to make a television sitcom. A 2010 version of I Love Lucy in 3D. Would you watch it?

After 2 days of the bucket approach, we tracked down a live mousetrap and caught little Fivel.
