Trip to the Motherland (i.e. Pittsburgh)

These captions are not matching up how they're supposed to with the pictures, and it's a bit too frustrating to deal with after a case of major jet-lag. I'm sure you'll get the picture (do you like my joke?).

Here is the famous Heinz ketchup hub that we have spent way too much time discussing and boring our friends about. Sadly, after 4 years living in Portland, Pooja is losing her Pittsburghness by converting to hippy organic ketchup, while Dan remains loyal to the good 'ol Pittsburgh ketchup. Wait a minute...who is supposed to be the hippy???

Pamela's Pancakes has the best pancakes we've ever had. If you ever make it to Pittsburgh, it is highly recommended that you check this place out.

Cathedral of Learning (yes, it's really called that) on the University of Pittsburgh campus where Pooja spent many hours sleeping in Basics of Space flight. Who knew that space flight could be so boring...and hard!

Road signs in the Borough of Large. Really. That would make the Dick Corp. the Large Dick Corporation.
